This morning, we have all gathered here to see all the glorious things, God has done in the lives of our students. When the Lord blesses anyone, he doesn't do it in secret, he makes sure that the world knows about it. We stand amazed at the Lord's goodness on our School, our Class X & XII Students and for the excellent results.
I am indeed glad to have Smt. A. Swain, Director Personnel, Eastern Coalfield Limited, as our Chief Guest for today's program.
Thank you Maám for accepting our invitation and extending your gracing presence this morning. Your presence is a great source of encouragement to all of us Maám. We are mindful and very appreciative of the way the ECL Management at Sodepur Area has been standing with the school and supporting us in igniting young minds and enabling them to attain their full potential.
We are much grateful to the ECL Management for your esteemed presence today. We are greatly overjoyed to have our respected Chairman, Rev. Oliver George, of the Schools Managing Committee, A.G. Church Schools Asansol, Ukhra, Sodepur and Raniganj. We are deeply indebted to you Sir, for your constant prayers, support and guidance to our school, here at Sodepur. We are profoundly grateful for your presence at today's program.
I would like to begin by applauding our dear students of class 10 and 12 of 2023-24 batch for the excellent results. Your hard work and commitment to your studies has brought laurels to you and the school.
Indeed, dear Students, you have made us feel proud!
I also take this opportunity and appreciate our dedicated team of staff for their commitment and contribution in bringing up such excellent results in ICSE and ISC examination. I would like to thank our wonderful parents for their constant support and cooperation to the school.
Before I share the details of our students' performance in ICSE and ISC 2023-2024 Examinations, on behalf of the Schools Managing Committee, I would like to congratulate our beloved colleague, and assistant teacher, Mrs. Jyoti Jha who has successfully completed 25 glorious years of faithful and dedicated services to the school.
May the Lord bless you Miss with good health, strength and wisdom to continue to serve your Alma mater, faithfully.
We are overjoyed for the cent percent results in both ICSE and ISC 2024 examination. A total of 172 students appeared in ICSE 2024 examination and all have got through successfully.
Neel Mondal from the Science stream has topped the list with 97.4%. He also scored 100% in Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Applications.
Congratulations to you Neel for your outstanding performance!!
We have 9 Six Pointers, who have secured 90% and above in all Six subjects. Kudos to each one of you dear students!!
Further, I would like to inform you that 28 students have scored 90% and above in Class X examination.
Moving on to the ISC 2024 examination results, a total of 100 students appeared and yet again we have cent percent results in ISC as well.
We have Shaily Bogi, from the Commerce stream, topping the list with 96 %. Congratulations Shaily, for the excellent performance!
We also have 11 students with 90% and above in Four subjects as Four Pointers. Furthermore, 16 students have secured 90 % and above on the average. Congratulations to you my beloved students!!
I would now like to share with you, some of the outstanding achievements of our students in Co-curricular activities held in the academic session 2023-2024. They have won great laurels and made us proud.
Our students have participated in the Inter-school Debate, Essay Writing Competition and drawing competition conducted by ECL Management during their Vigilance Awareness Week and Swachata Pakhwada Month. They have won First and Second Prize respectively.
Our group dancers won the second prize in the Inter School competition 'Quest' held at St. Patrick's School.
Our school relay team won the First prize in Inter School Relay held at St Patrick's School, First prize in the Inter School Relay held at St Vincents High & Technical School & Second prize in the Inter School Relay held at Loreto Convent.
It gives me great joy to announce that many of our students also took part in CISCE Regional Games at District, State and National level and few of them have won great laurels. You can see their achievements in the presentation that has come up on the screen.
We are really proud of all of our wonderful and talented students.
Before I conclude, I take this opportunity and deeply appreciate the dedicated, faithful years of services of our superannuated Teaching Faculty and Helper staff. You all have been a guiding light to many, and it's been a pleasure working alongside with someone as talented and hardworking as Mr. S. PANJA, MR. I . A. K DAS, MRS. C. TOPPO, MR. R. S. GAITANO, our Helper staff, Mr. C Hela, Mr. S Rajwar. Your absence will be felt by all of us. We wish you success in all your future endeavours.
The Bible says, "For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless." When we walk uprightly before God, He bestows favor and honor and will never withhold any good things from us.
Indeed, He has done great things in the lives of our beloved students and it's marvelous.
He sees great value in each one of you.
He gave that special recognition, He conferred that honor. To God be all Glory!!
